Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

On September 25th 2015, countries adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a sustainable development agenda. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will address the unfinished business of the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) and embark on an even more ambitious path of holistic human development. Its success will depend on a range of partnerships between development stakeholders, and also the readiness of national Governments to localize them at the soonest.
